The Lonsdale Lecture Prize of the British Crystallographic Association
Symposium, Award ·Dr. Katherine Brown delivered the Dame Kathleen Lonsdale Lecture at the annual meeting British Crystallographic Association held at the University of Sheffield, UK.
Dr. Katherine Brown was honored with the Dame Kathleen Lonsdale Lecture Prize, awarded annually by the early-stage crystallography group of the British Crystallographic Association (BCA). She presented her lecture, “From Ångstroms to kilometres and back again: Science at interfaces and the importance of belonging”, at the annual BCA meeting which was held at the University of Sheffield in the UK. She discussed past and current work, including diseases modeling studies supported by the Welcome Trust as well as the trajectory of her career that led her to the diverse research activities and career choices she made.
