Stone Nwamadi, our most recent undergraduate research student, has just graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Public Health. Stone’s research primarily focused on developing geospatial maps of landscapes under flood risk and a story map about West Nile Virus in the Austin area. During his time with us he received a scholarship from the Empowering Future Agricultural Scientists program with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and worked as an intern with Austin Public Heath. We will miss him and wish him success in his future studies at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry in Dallas.
