The University of Texas at Austin Libraries hosted their annual GIS Day conference. This year’s theme explored geospatial artificial intelligence. The events also aimed to celebrate all-things-Geospatial Information Sciences on the UT campus. Michael Shensky and Alex Marden from UT Libraries, and who are also members of the FloDisMod team, were key organizers of this conference that included talks, posters and a drone demonstration. FloDisMod members Liting Huang and Stone Nwamadi presented posters on Chagas disease and floods impacts on agricultural land in south Texas, respectively.
